In August of 2017 my wife and I flew down to Nashville, TN to put ourselves directly in the path of solar eclipse. Music City, USA left me unimpressed; New Orleans will forever be my Southern city. We ended up driving an hour east of the city to Bledsoe Creek State Park to set up with hundreds of other folks to watch the solar spectacle.
